Esther 8:4
Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,
Reflections On The Scripture: In the presence of the king, Esther received the golden sceptre, a symbol of the king's favor. And so, she stood, no longer in his shadow, but beside him, called to serve a greater purpose. Just like Esther, we have all been given our 'golden sceptres' in the form of divine capabilities and blessings. We are called to rise, to come forward from the shadows of fear and doubt, and stand before our King, our Creator, with courage and confidence. In our lives, there will be seasons when we may feel unworthy or afraid, but let us remember Esther's tale of bravery. We too are meant to stand tall and hold our own golden sceptre, embracing the divine favor and calling from the King of Kings.
