Verse of the Day
Deuteronomy 31:18
Reflections On The Scripture: This scripture verse reminds us, friends, that there are consequences when we choose to turn away from the Almighty, from seeking His council, and from adhering to His commandments. The 'other gods' the verse refers to can be interpreted as the many distractions and temptations that beckon us daily, steering us away from a pure and faithful path - it might be materialism, greed, or selfishness. But remember this, by turning to these 'other gods,' we inadvertently turn our faces away from His radiant Grace. And in doing so, we are left in the dark. But don't despair, for He is a forgiving God, ever ready to welcome back His prodigal children who've strayed, filling their lives with His never-ending love and grace, outshining all transgressions. So let us always strive to seek His face, and dwell in His divine light.
