Verse of the Day
Deuteronomy 25:13
Reflections On The Scripture: God's word calls us to be consistent, honest, and fair in our dealings with other people. This verse from Deuteronomy is a reminder not to carry two sets of standards—one for our convenience and another for others. It is a call to integrity. It is tempting to change our standards based on situations, but, as true followers of Christ, we are expected to remain steadfast in truth and fairness. Remember, our God is just and we, as His children, should mirror His unswerving justice and integrity. Let our lives be characterized by the uniformity of our measures, which essentially boils down to the unwavering constancy of our Christian faith and practice.
