Verse of the Day

Acts 8:26
And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
Reflections On The Scripture: Sometimes we may find ourselves drawn toward an uncertain direction in life, just as Philip was led to venture into the desert by the Angel of the Lord in Acts 8:26. We might question the wisdom of heading into a metaphorical desert, a place that appears bare, desolate, devoid of comfort and of life. But it is in these dry places, these challenging seasons of life, that our faith is tested and strengthened. God may lead us to these 'deserts' not to harm us but rather to teach us to trust in His guidance, His timing and His providence. Remember, He knows the way through the wilderness. All we have to do is follow, even when the path seems difficult or unclear. By doing this, we show our faith in God's divine plan for us. Just like Philip, let us rise and follow the will of God, with trust and faith, even when it leads us into the unfamiliar or uncomfortable. The Lord is with us in every step, leading us towards His purpose for our lives.
