Verse of the Day

Acts 27:31
Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse found in Acts is a powerful reminder of our need for community and solidarity in our life's voyage. Just like the earnest plea of Paul to the centurion and the soldiers, telling them that their survival is tied to their unity in remaining on the ship, it mirrors our own journey towards salvation. We are all on a ship, called life, sailing sometimes through calm waters, at other times through turbulent storms. But the key to weathering these storms is to remain rooted in the ship, our community of faith, which holds us fast and provides support and endurance. Salvation thus isn't a solitary endeavor but one that is intrinsically linked with our co-travelers and their faith, urging us to hold on, together and united in our belief. Let us remember then, we are in this together, and it is together that we will reach the shores of salvation.
