Verse of the Day
Acts 13:18
Reflections On The Scripture: Sometimes, we wonder why we face prolonged periods of difficulties in our lives much like the Israelites in their 40-year journey in the wilderness. But remember, it isn't God's intention to make us suffer, instead, it is a period of refinement, a time to eliminate the impurities in our hearts and lives. These periods of trials and struggles, though they might seem endless, are often the times we draw closer to God, recognizing our dependence on His grace and mercy. So, whenever you feel like you're stranded in your own 'wilderness', remember the story of the Israelites - God had a plan for them, and He has a plan for you. All we need is faith and patience.
