Verse of the Day
2 Corinthians 10:17-18
Reflections On The Scripture: Remember, it is not our own self-praise or the praises from others that elevate us, but it is the recognition and commendation from our Lord that truly matters. We may strive, and in our human nature, even be prone to boast about our accomplishments, but as followers of Christ, we must shift that boasting from ourselves and towards the One who truly deserves it. So let's seek not the approval of the world, but the approval of God - for it is His voice above all that we should yearn to hear saying, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." When we shift our perspective from self-glorification to God-glorification, our accomplishments fall graciously under His glory. Let's boast in His goodness, in His grace, and in His endless love for us. It is here that we find our worth, not in our accolades but in His affirming words.
