Verse of the Day

1 Timothy 1:9
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
Reflections On The Scripture: We must understand that the law is not meant to confine us, rather, it's a guiding beacon that illuminates the path for those who have lost their way. The righteous already have the love of God in their hearts and they live their lives by His Word. The law then, serves not to reprimand, but to bring the wayward home, just like a lighthouse guiding ships lost in the night. It stands to correct the disobedient, educate the uninformed, heal the hurt and mend the broken. Through the law, they are reminded of God's enduring love and His desire of transformation for everyone, even those who have strayed very far away. Because God’s desire is not to punish, but to correct, to heal, and to transform, even the most egregious sinner. So let us not see the law as a burden, but rather as a testament to God's unfailing love, understanding, and mercy.
