Verse of the Day

1 Samuel 30:22
Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse, we are reminded of the importance of unity and fairness, regardless of an individual's contribution or role. The men who didn't go with David's men refused to share the spoils, suggesting that only they who were present in the struggle should reap the benefits. However, we must remember, that we are all participants in the kingdom of God and our rewards should be shared equally. In every community, each member plays a unique role, every contribution is significant, no matter how trivial it might seem. The harvest belongs to all of us, as children of God and members of His kingdom, irrespective of our perceived worthiness. Divine benevolence is not measured by our earthly standards, but by God's boundless grace and generosity.
