Verse of the Day
Lamentations 5:11
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse most certainly relays a time of hardship, of pain and suffering for the people of Zion and Judah. It tells a heart-rending story of human affliction, an evident representation of the brokenness in our world. Yet, even amongst such devastation, it reminds us to reflect on the midst of our own life's trials. To grasp and hold tight to our faith against all odds. We are not abandoned in our times of tribulation. In times of hardship we are given an opportunity to seek comfort, strength and refuge in the One who has overcome the world. We can stand firmly, knowing that our God is a God of justice, and He will bring redemption and restoration to the oppressed. He heals shattered hearts and mends the hurting soul, turning pain into purpose and affliction into a strengthening testament of His undying love.
