Verse of the Day

1 Samuel 23:21
And Saul said, Blessed be ye of the LORD; for ye have compassion on me.
Reflections On The Scripture: Blessed indeed we are by the Lord when we show compassion to others. Saul's words in 1 Samuel 23:21 illustrate the tremendous power of compassion, bringing light into our lives in the midst of our own challenges. In expressing compassion, not only do we affirm the love of God within us but we also become a radiant vessel of His love towards others. This act of kindness, of putting oneself in another's shoes, of feeling their pain and being willing to help, this is the kind of love God wants us to share. The blessing Saul talks about is not just for him but for those who showed him compassion because in that moment, they were manifesting Divine love.
