Verse of the Day
1 Samuel 14:23
Reflections On The Scripture: Friends, let us take a moment to reflect on 1 Samuel 14:23. This verse reminds us of the omnipotent nature of our God, and His ability to step in and influence the course of events, even wars. Now, we may not be physically on battlefields each day, but we do confront battles of our own, be it temptation, doubt, fear, or despair. The essence of this verse is to never forget that even when we feel like we're losing the battle, our God, our divine commander is in the background, fighting for us in ways we can't comprehend. He directs our path and turns the tide in our favor just as He did for the Israelites at Bethaven.
