Verse of the Day

1 Kings 1:10
But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.
Reflections On The Scripture: In the midst of life's trials and tribulations, it's easy to feel like king David, overlooked and uninvited, just like Solomon in the verse from 1 Kings 1:10. You may sometimes feel unseen by those around you, unacknowledged in your work, or uninvited to the larger opportunities in life. This is a common and human feeling. Yet, remember who you are and who is in control. David didn't call Solomon, but God did. Just like Solomon, we must realize that the one who truly sees us, the one whose validation carries the greatest weight, is God. His plans for us are beyond what we can imagine, and the invitation from Him is the most important of all, for He alone is the source of our life purpose.
