Verse of the Day
1 Kings 10:23
Reflections On The Scripture: In life, we often admire those who are rich and wise like King Solomon. He had an abundance of material wealth, and wisdom granted from God Himself. This verse highlights not just his worldly wealth but, more importantly, his wisdom. But let's not forget, it was the wisdom that Solomon asked for, not riches. The wealth was simply an addition, a blessing from God honoring Solomon's desire for wisdom above all else. So as you move through your day and make your requests known to God, yearn not for material blessings, but for the wisdom to understand His will and the strength to follow it. The true wealth in life is not found in the possessions we accumulate, but in the wisdom to live according to God's purpose and design.
