Verse of the Day

1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Reflections On The Scripture: This scripture speaks about divine order and spiritual leadership in not only our personal lives, but also in our households and our communities. As the head, Christ is the supreme guide and protector, whom we should always look towards for direction and wisdom. In our households, the man is to emulate Christ’s leadership, providing guidance and safekeeping. It prompts each of us to serve our roles with humility, understanding and love, reflecting Christ's teachings. Now, let's remember, the concept of headship is not about superiority or dominance. It's about serving and protecting those under our care, just as Christ serves and protects us, under the watchful gaze of God. It’s about setting the right examples, being accountable and making a positive difference, just as Christ has done for us. So, let's celebrate this divine order, this divine symmetry wherever we are, remembering always to look up to our head, Christ, and strive to mirror his unconditional love and selfless service.
