Thank God for What He Has Done: Acknowledging His Presence and Provision in Our Lives

In 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Paul writes, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” By developing a habit of praying with gratitude, we can become more attuned to God’s presence in our lives and experience greater peace and contentment.
Being mindful can make you more grateful to God because it helps you to focus on the present moment and become more aware of the blessings in your life. When you practice mindfulness, you become more attuned to the sights, sounds, and sensations around you, and you develop a greater sense of appreciation for the beauty and richness of the world.
Find a peaceful spot, like under the tree or by your favorite window, then get comfortable. Take some deep breaths as you close your eyes and focus on being present in the moment. Beware of any thought that passes, then let them go for true inner stillness.
