Verse of the Day

Matthew 16:15-16
““But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.””
Reflections On The Scripture: Let us truly reflect on this profound inquiry from our Savior; just as He asked Simon Peter, He is asking each and every one of us, 'Who do you say I am?' The world may provide its various definitions of who Christ is, yet it boils down to our personal understanding and acceptance of Him. Simon Peter recognized Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of the living God. He had profound clarity about Christ's divine identity, not just as a prophet, teacher, or historical figure, but as the Savior, anointed to bring salvation to all mankind. It's a gentle reminder that our faith should not be built merely on popular opinion or superficial knowledge, but rather on a deeply personal relationship with Christ marked by recognition of His divinity. May we strive towards gaining and maintaining that personalized knowledge of Christ, for that is the foundation of unshakeable faith.
