Psalms 94:20
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
Reflections On The Scripture: Throughout the holy scriptures, it is starkly clear that there exists no unity between righteousness and wickedness, light and darkness. Psalms 94:20 asks a poignant question, whether the throne of iniquity can have fellowship with righteousness? It questions the compatibility of unjust laws with the divine ordinances. The answer is an emphatic no. Any form of mischief, crafted into a law, stands in stark contrast with God’s truth and justice. God’s nature is upright, just, and sovereign. Thus, adhering to His righteousness compels us to shun every evil, even when it masquerades as established law. As His followers, we should constantly seek His wisdom in our lives, not falling for the deceitful allure of an erroneous path, but standing resolute on our convictions grounded in His principles. Let us set our eyes on His seat of justice, not the throne of iniquity.
