Verse of the Day

Psalms 89:38
But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this verse, we feel the seeming sense of rejection, an emotion that is not uncommon to many of us. Sometimes, it may seem like we have been cast off or abandoned, just like the speaker in this psalm. But we must remember the truth of God's love which sees beyond our present circumstances. Even when we face the hardships and trials of life, we can trust in His divine plan. We may feel the sting of rejection, experience moments of anger, or even question our place in His plans. But even in those moments, we must remember that His love for us remains steadfast and unchanging. His love sees our hidden potentials and holds onto us, even when we stumble or falter. It's a love that not only forgives us, but also believes in our capability to rise again, and to find hope even in times when we may feel abandoned.
