Verse of the Day

Psalms 78:42
They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
Reflections On The Scripture: How often do we forget the mercy and deliverance of God in our lives? This verse reminds us of the Israelite’s forgetfulness after God rescued them miracely from their enemies. The reality is, our human nature can also lead us to forget the great works and miracles God has done for us. We can easily get consumed by our present troubles and forget past deliverances. Let this verse serve as a reminder to continually recall His mighty works in our lives. We, as believers should intentionally recount His goodness and reaffirm our trust in Him for he is the same yesterday, today and forever. Our past deliverances are proof of His steadfast love and unlimited capability to save us in the future.
