Verse of the Day
Psalms 106:30
Reflections On The Scripture: Phinehas's actions to stand up and execute rightful judgement reminds us that our lives are full of daily plagues, not of illness but of temptations, doubts, and challenges. It is by exercising steadfast faith and decisive action in God's righteous commandments that we can stay those plagues and find peace. There's power and effectiveness in standing up and taking action based on God's righteous judgement over our lives. This authority is not reserved for the high priests or spiritual giants alone, but for all believers who trust and obey God's will. Let us therefore, like Phinehas, stand up in our various spheres and execute judgment according to God's Word. Then shall the plagues of sin, doubt, fear, and despair be stayed from our lives and society.
