Verse of the Day

Matthew 7:13-14
“[The Narrow and Wide Gates] “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Reflections On The Scripture: Our journey in life is often met with choices, pathways that define our destiny. The teachings of the Gospel present us with two gates – the narrow gate that leads to eternal life, and the wide gate that represents a path of destruction. As we look around, it can seem that the wide gate calls to the masses, promising immediate pleasures and worries cast away. Yet, this gate is filled with hidden trials and spiritual emptiness. It may be challenging to choose the narrow gate, the path less traveled, the one marked with sacrifice and perseverance. At times, it may even seem uninviting. But we must remember that the narrow path introduces us to a life filled with purpose, grace, and a strong connection with our Creator. As we embrace this road, we will soon understand the heavenly rewards that await us, and the eternal love we will experience as we walk hand in hand with God. Do not be disheartened by its difficulty, for the strength God provides us makes every step worth taking. Choose the narrow gate and witness the divine change it brings to your life.
