Verse of the Day
Matthew 11:29
Reflections On The Scripture: In our hurried lives, laden with worries, God invites us to share our burdens with Him. The yoke that Jesus refers to is a symbol of the burdens that we carry. He encourages us to learn from His humility and meekness which is in stark contrast to the pride and hardness of the world. We are called to exchange our heavy burdens for His light yoke. As we learn from Him and grow in gentleness and humility, we find rest, peace, and purpose that our souls desperately long for. It’s in surrendering to Him, following His lead, that we rediscover life’s tranquility despite its challenges. This is indeed a divine paradox; to find rest, we must shoulder God's yoke; to experience freedom, we must submit to His will.
