Verse of the Day
Mark 15:21
Reflections On The Scripture: In our journey of faith, sometimes we are called to carry crosses that we did not anticipate. Simon the Cyrenian was merely a bystander, a passerby caught in the midst of a profound historical moment. Yet he was called upon to bear the cross of Jesus, to take part in God’s amazing plan of salvation. Many times in life, we might find ourselves in Simon's shoes, asked to take on challenges or burdens that seem unexpected or beyond our own strength. But God, in his infinite wisdom, has a purpose for us in these moments. We must remember that just like Simon, when we bear our crosses with faith and humility, we are participating in God's marvelous work. His grace will sustain us and through it, we are drawing closer to him.
