Verse of the Day

Luke 4:3
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse illustrates the cunning of evil, how it seeks to make us doubt our identities and God-given roles. The devil tried to lure Jesus, the Son of God, to use His divine power for earthly satisfaction, thus diverting Him from His ultimate purpose and mission. The enemy uses the same tactics on us today. When we face difficulties in life, we are often tempted to use our own means to meet our immediate needs. But like Jesus, we need to immerse ourselves in God’s Word and His promises. We are called not to use our God-given abilities and gifts for selfish gains, but to accomplish His divine purposes. Resist the devil's whispers that urge you to satisfy immediate, worldly needs at the expense of God’s commands. Embrace instead the higher call to use the unique gifts bestowed on us for God's greater glory.
