Reflections On The Scripture: This passage reminds us that material wealth is not a reflection of our spiritual worth. The rich man, adorned in purple fine linen and enjoying the finest fare, presents a picture of earthly success. But we must keep in mind that our true wealth distinctly lies in our faith and our relationship with God.
