Verse of the Day

Luke 13:30
And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
Reflections On The Scripture: In this great life journey, the world may assign us roles that rank us first or last. Some of us start out ahead in the race of life due to privilege or positiveness, while others start out seemingly behind due to lack or trials. But, remember, the divine ways are not the ways of the world. This scripture from Luke enlightens us that God’s kingdom operates on different principles. It’s not about who is first or last based on worldly standards; rather, it’s about the sincerity of our hearts and the strength of our faith. Those who seem to be last in the eyes of the world, may very well be first in the eyes of God. Much in the same way, those who are highly esteemed in the world may find themselves to be last in this divine estimation. Hence, let’s not fall prey to the world's ranking system. Instead, let’s keep our hearts humble and pure, and our faith strong. We may just find that the last will indeed be first, and the first last.
