Verse of the Day
Judges 9:46
Reflections On The Scripture: Our lives are filled with towers of Shechem or situations that can inspire fear and send us seeking refuge. What Judges 9:46 teaches us, however, is that temporary shelter isn't the solution. Running away might give you momentary relief, but it's only by facing our giants, our fears and our trials, that we can truly overcome anything. And more importantly, we must be cautious where we take our shelter. False shelters provide false security. The mighty fortress is our God, our safe refuge, our secure stronghold. Turn to Him, for He's the ultimate refuge that provides true peace and divine protection.
