Verse of the Day
Judges 7:12
Reflections On The Scripture: The book of Judges paints a vivid picture of the vast multitude of Midianites and Amalekites in the Eastern valley - their numbers so great, they are likened to grasshoppers. Indeed, uncountable like the grains of sand on the seashore. At first glance, this image might fill us with an overwhelming sense of despair or fear. The sheer magnitude of obstacles standing against us - symbolized by the armies and the camels - appear insurmountable. Yet, in the midst of this, we are reminded of God's grace and His promise to guide and protect us. For no matter the size or scale of our challenges, they are not bigger or greater than our God. With unshakeable faith, unwavering trust and the God-given strength, we can and will overcome what seems impossible, just as Gideon did with his mere three hundred men, proving that the victory is always God's. No multitude is ever too great for Him.
