Verse of the Day
Judges 18:8
Reflections On The Scripture: In the book of Judges, we see a moment of community leaning on each other, seeking guidance and wisdom. Much like the brethren in Zorah and Eshtaol, we are called to come to each other in times of uncertainty and confusion, not as individuals, but as a body, a brethren united in faith and love. When asked, "What say ye?", it's an example of the unity we're asked to embody as Christ-followers, where each person’s response should be a reflection of God's love and wisdom, not just personal opinions. This scripture invites us not only to open our hearts and ears to the guidance of our brethren, but also to ensure that our words reflect the teachings of the Gospel, and serve to uplift, inspire, and cultivate love and understanding.
