Verse of the Day

Judges 18:1
In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse leads us to reflect on the import of leadership and guidance in our lives. While the tribe of Danites was seeking their inheritance, there was no king in Israel, underlining a lack of direction, vision, and someone to stand up for justice. Similarly, in our lives, it is imperative to seek the true King, our Lord. Only by adopting His teachings, can we align ourselves to the rightful path. The inheritance the Danites were seeking is akin to the spiritual inheritance we as believers seek in our walk of faith - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. We must remember, up until we wholeheartedly seek His guidance, our spiritual inheritance is enigmatic and unreachable.
