Verse of the Day

Joshua 1:2
Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
Reflections On The Scripture: The loss of a leader, mentor, or a loved one can leave a void that feels impossible to fill. Yet, when Moses passed on, God called Joshua to rise up, to take a step of faith, cross the Jordan, and lead His people to the Promised Land. This is a powerful reminder to us that even in times of grief and loss, God is there to guide us forward. Beyond the trauma of the moment, there is a purpose and promise that we, as children of God, can claim. We need to trust Him and step bravely into our destiny as He directs us, just as Joshua did. In our moments of fear and doubt, we can find strength in His promises and courage in His command. Our journey might be daunting, but we are reminded that our walk of faith passes through the valleys to reach the mountaintop. Let us then take a step forward, holding steadfastly onto his promises, for our God is unchanging in His faithfulness.
