Verse of the Day

Job 34:8
Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Job directly confronts us with the perennial conflict of human nature: the constant struggle between righteousness and wickedness. It's a compelling reminder that the company we choose to keep has a profound affect on the course of our lives. When we walk in the company of those who habitually do wrong, we run the risk of becoming like them. We are urged to be filled with discernment, to make decisions that reflect the character of God. Thus we should actively choose to surround ourselves with individuals who love the Lord, whose actions and words mirror divine wisdom, and who encourage us to grow and expand in our faith and moral compass. Then and only then, we are able to walk the path of righteousness and make a positive difference in our world.
