Verse of the Day

Job 15:2
Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse is a remarkable call to admonish and steer us clear from vanity. In our pursuit of wisdom, we must be careful not to fill ourselves with vain knowledge. Vain knowledge is like the 'east wind', empty, without substance, causing destruction and drought instead of yielding productivity. True wisdom is not about accumulation of facts or worldly glory, nor is it a tool for self-promotion. It lies in the richness of understanding God's word, His who, His what, His why. If we allow God's word to fill our hearts, we bring forth quality fruit, a wisdom that is worth sharing, a wisdom that leads to life, not vanity.
