Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 33:14
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
Reflections On The Scripture: We live in a world where promises are often made lightly and broken easily, but we must understand that when God makes a promise, He will assuredly fulfill it. In this verse from the book of Jeremiah, the Lord speaks of a "good thing" He has promised to His people. It is a reminder for us to steadfastly hold onto faith, even in the face of trouble and uncertainty, knowing that God's promises are not like human promises. His words bear no falsehood or deceit. Even though the fulfillment of these promises may not come immediately, we must maintain our patience and exhibit unwavering faith as we remember that God’s timing is always perfect; He is never late, not even by a moment. His promises will come to fruition when the time is ripe for His divine will to unfold.
