Verse of the Day

Jeremiah 30:14
All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
Reflections On The Scripture: This powerful verse from Jeremiah reminds us that those who once claimed to love us may cast us aside when we are wounded and broken, especially due to our own mistakes and sins. But remember, these challenging times are not evidence of abandonment, rather they are a call for repentance and self-examination. It is a divine warning revealings our shortcomings and inviting us to embrace transformation and turn back to God. When we feel abandoned and chastised due to our own iniquities, it’s then we should realize that our true lover, our eternal savior, is eagerly waiting for us with outstretched arms. It's up to us to seek Him in our brokenness and let His love heal our sinful wounds. His love never abandons us, but pursues us even when we waver and fall into the trap of our momentary pleasures and sins.
