Verse of the Day
James 4:5
Reflections On The Scripture: The scriptures serve as a divine mirror, revealing to us the innate complexity of our human nature, a nature which is prone to envy. However, it is not a message of despair. Rather, it's a call for us to recognize this tendency, confront it, and seek spiritual guidance in order to overcome it. The spirit that dwelleth in us also has the capacity to choose love, kindness, patience, and humility over envy. So, remember, we are not left alone in this battle. With the grace and strength provided by our faith, we can rise above these earthly temptations, align our spirit with divine virtues and live a life that is pleasing to God.
