Verse of the Day

Isaiah 66:9
Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.
Reflections On The Scripture: The Lord in His infinite knowledge and divine wisdom is always with you. Like a loving mother, God carries and nurtures us. The birth spoken of in Isaiah 66:9 is not merely physical, but spiritual. Much like the process of childbirth, it involves preparation, spiritual labor: moments of struggle, adversity, growth, faith and surrender. And just as a mother does not bring her child to the cusp of birth without intention of delivering that child, so the Lord doesn't bring us to the brink of our destiny, to our spiritual breakthrough, and then abandon us. Embrace the process for the Lord is crafting a masterpiece, developing you for His purpose. Our God doesn't do half-baked work - what He starts, He faithfully completes. Remember that the next time you encounter trials.
