Verse of the Day

Isaiah 60:10
And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
Reflections On The Scripture: It's a powerful message in this verse from Isaiah 60:10. Here we are reminded that even our adversaries, those alien to us, can become instruments for our growth and blessing. God's mysterious plans may involve hardship and struggle, His righteous anger may scorch, but it is in His deep-seated grace that we see mercy and renewal. When God allows the 'sons of strangers' to build our walls, it challenges our comprehension. It reveals a critical perspective of His sovereign power and His passion for redemption. These walls may symbolize our defenses, our wellbeing, our spiritual progress. But what's most spectacular is God's power to transform, His power to turn wrath into favor, a stranger into a friend, a devastation into a fortification.
