Verse of the Day

Isaiah 10:14
And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
Reflections On The Scripture: The Lord's omnipotence is beautifully articulated in this verse. It is as if the entire world is a nest of little eggs which He brings together under His hands, with no one to question or protest. This signifies His unmatched power and authority over all people and lands. As believers, this verse is a gentle reminder to us of His mighty hand that gathers, preserves, and controls everything in this world. It challenges us to acknowledge His supremacy, to submit to His will, and to embrace the assurance of His divine cover that shields us from any dangers lurking around. In His nest we find not only protection, but also the true riches of the people - faith, love, and hope.
