Verse of the Day

Genesis 45:3
And Joseph said unto his brethren, I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence.
Reflections On The Scripture: We all go through periods of hardship and discomfort, just as Joseph did in the bible. His path was filled with missteps by his own family, yet that did not deviate him from the path God had laid out for him. Often, our troubles come from places we least expect; sometimes even from those we hold dear. But take heart. The pits in life are not the end. They are merely twists and turns leading you towards the destiny God has planned for you. The reactions of those who've wronged you when they finally realize God's plan unfolding in your favor might trouble them, yet do not let it make your heart heavy. Keep close to your heart the story of Joseph. Remember, at the end it wasn't about payback, but about forgiveness, love, and reconciliation. Above all, it was about the acknowledgement that it was not them, but God, in control.
