Verse of the Day

Genesis 16:2
And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.
Reflections On The Scripture: This scripture from Genesis teaches us on the importance of patience and reliance on God's timing. Sarai, out of desperation and impatience, attempts to build her family through her own means, putting her faith in her own solution instead of God's promise. This brings a powerful message to our lives. It’s human nature to want to control everything in our paths. We desire to shape our destiny but when our plans do not go as expected, we should not yield to the temptation of crafting our mechanisms to confront the issue. Instead, we should keep a steadfast faith in our Lord, trusting in His timing and rely on His promises, for they never fail.
