Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 21:26
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Ezekiel relates a message of divine consequence and reversal of fortune. It calls to mind the hand of God, capable of turning kings into paupers and lifting the lowly to exalted positions. To wear a crown or to be abased is not purely of our own doing but through God's divine plan. Moreover, our human standard of greatness often differs significantly from God's. This tells us that we must humble ourselves, recognizing that our worldly status is fleeting, and cultivate a spirit of servitude towards God and others. For it is in humility and service that we are raised high in the Kingdom of God.
