Verse of the Day

Ezekiel 16:4
And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.
Reflections On The Scripture: This verse from Ezekiel carries a great and profound truth about many of our lives. Often times, life doesn't greet us with comfort or luxury, and like the child described in this verse, many of us were born into struggles and hardships. As the navel of the newborn child wasn't cut, we carry the burdens and trials of life that inherently came with our birth into this world. However, it's important to remember that amidst harsh and difficult conditions, the child yet lives, and thrives. This is encouraging as it reminds us that no matter the harsh circumstances surrounding our upbringing or current-standing, we have been given life, and with life, there's always hope and potential for a brighter and promising future. Never despair, and always look up and forward.
