Verse of the Day

Exodus 33:9
And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
Reflections On The Scripture: Like Moses, we too are invited into a personal relationship with our heavenly Father. The cloudy pillar that descended is a clear depiction of God's magnificent glory and His desire to communicate with us. We may not see a physical cloudy pillar, but every quiet moment spent in prayer, every whisper in our hearts when we read His Word, is a testament of His presence and His longing to have a conversation with us. He stands at the door of our hearts, intimately, patiently waiting for us to welcome Him in. So, we must remember to make time, to set a tabernacle in our hearts, and move into quiet communion with our Lord. He is eager to speak to us just as He did with Moses. Don't let the noise of life drown out the voice of God. Always be ready for your personal Exodus, for it is in these moments of intimate contact that God guides, teaches, and transforms us.
