Verse of the Day
Exodus 31:9
Reflections On The Scripture: In Exodus 31:9, the Lord is instructing Moses on how to build the Tabernacle and its furnishings, explicitly including the altar of burnt offering and the laver and its base. It paints a vivid picture for us today as it demonstrates that God values both the big and small things. Nothing is insignificant to Him. He doesn't just care about the big, showy parts of our lives but every piece, even those parts that seemingly take a support role. The Lord is involved in our lives' details, from our biggest joys to our smallest struggles. As you travel through your day-to-day journey, remember that God cares about every single aspect of your life - nothing is too minor or insignificant. Just as the laver and its foot were integral to the Tabernacle’s workings, so too are your seemingly small contributions critical to God's vast plan.
