Verse of the Day

Ecclesiastes 5:6
Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
Reflections On The Scripture: In the path of life, our words hold power, and they serve as a mirror, reflecting the state of our hearts. Ecclesiastes 5:6 implores us not to let our words propel us into sin, nor to trivialize our missteps when held accountable. Our Lord is loving yes, but He also values sincerity and takes our words seriously. In trivializing our faults, we attempt to manipulate grace but we must remember, God looks beyond our voices, into our hearts. So, let's use our words wisely, to uplift, to love, to apologize genuinely when we err, and to glorify Our Creator, for through this, we preserve the work of our hands and secure His divine favor.
