Verse of the Day

Daniel 10:16
And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
Reflections On The Scripture: The verse demonstrates how God reaches out to us in our weakness, and how our dialogue with Him fuels our strength. Often times, we find ourselves overwhelmed, worn out by the trials and tribulations of life. Yet it's in this profound helplessness, this stark realization that shows us we are incapable of battling life's storms on our own, that God reveals His transformative power. Like Daniel, we are touched by the divine, and our lips are unsealed, not just to voice our struggles but to proclaim our faith in Him. As the strength drains from us, we are filled instead with the Lord's resilience. Our sorrows may be turned upon us, but it is God’s unique way to mold our purposeful perseverance.
