This verse is a great reminder that we too, when confronted by venomous circumstances, can shake them off with unwavering faith, and like Paul, we will even not feel any harm. The fire which consumed the beast also symbolizes God's purification process, a reminder that He can use even our toughest circumstances for our own refinement. So today, as we face our own struggles, let’s be inspired to call deep on our faith and shake off fear and despair, trusting in God's promise of protection and refinement.
