Verse of the Day

Acts 12:11
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the LORD hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Reflections On The Scripture: There’s a profound truth in Peter's testimony here. At times in our lives, we find ourselves constrained by chains - chains of fear, anxiety, addiction, or others' expectations. Much like Peter, we may feel imprisoned. But take heart! The Lord has the power to free us, just like he freed Peter. This is a stark reminder that no matter how dire our circumstances might seem, God is with us. He dispatches his angels, His guides, to lead us from darkness into His glorious light. We must be like Peter, aware and receptive of this divine intervention. When the world seems to be against us, or when the expectations seem unbearable, let us remember, the divine love of our Father can deliver us from all of it.
